The first commercially available whisky from the Lindores Abbey has arrived! There's a fascinating story behind this one – Lindores Abbey is the officially recognised site of the first recorded distillation of Scotch whisky, all the way back in 1494, when King James IV commissioned Brother John Cor to make aqua vitae with eight bolls of malt.
